The dopest part of this comment section is seeing how people relate to this song in so many different ways. Can’t remember how long I’ve been bumping this, but as others have said, beats and rhymes… it’s a masterpiece. I’m at an age now with kids and in a happy relationship and this song has now morphed into something that makes me think back on younger times, hooking up with girls, short term romances that never went anywhere but never ended badly and the excitement you felt when you met someone that you completely clicked with, if even for just that night. Reminiscing on good times and wondering how that other persons life has turned out since and whether they ever think of those times. I can’t think of any other song that brings those sort of thoughts to focus.
